Sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda: This is one of the most famous and well known place that you must not miss to make a visit when in Yangon Myanmar. Being at one of the most ostentatious sights the golden spectacle of this place is very tall around 99-metres/325 foot, and is 2500 years old making it the oldest Buddhist stupa in the world. Shwedagon Pagoda is very unique and important because the Pagoda is made of bricks plated with pure gold. So people call it the Golden Pagoda. At the peak of the Pagoda there is a 76 carat (15 Grams) Diamond. The diamond glitters and it seems to be of different colour from different angles, depending on which position you are standing and watching it. It is a spectacular and marvellous thing and in my opinion a very few monuments are there in the World with such unique features.

Bogyoke Aung San Market: Built during the colonial British era the Bogyoke Aung San Market is one of the most famous and well known market in Yangon.
